Michael Puk, MD, graduated from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 1989 and completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, concluding in 1993. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1995, he has been practicing since. Dr. Puk’s professional interests include advanced cataract surgery, small incision corneal transplant surgery, DSAEK, endoscopic photocoagulation (ECP) for glaucoma, and laser vision correction surgery since 1995, including LASIK and PRK. Daniel Miller, MD, earned his MD from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 1995 and completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center and Eastern Virginia Medical School, respectively, finishing in 1999. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 2001, Dr. Miller has been practicing since. Thomas Petrie, DO, graduated from Des Moines University in 2010 and completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Doctors Hospital (Ohio University – Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine) in Columbus, OH, finishing in 2014. Board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology since 2015, he has been practicing since. Dr. Petrie’s professional interests include cataract surgery, diabetic eye disease, functional and cosmetic surgery of the eyelids, and surgical reconstruction of orbital trauma. He is an active member of the International Society of Refractive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
