Dr. Fogel, a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external diseases, brings extensive expertise to Concord Eye Center since 1994. Graduating from Williams College and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, she completed her residency at the University of Chicago and pursued fellowships in cornea and external disease at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Corneal Associates of New Jersey. Dr. Fogel’s dedication extends beyond her practice; she volunteered with Living in Faith in June 2018, providing free medical and surgical eye care to patients in Haiti, significantly improving their vision. Actively engaged in medical societies like the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Dr. Fogel serves as the current President of Concord Eye Center. Living in Bow, NH, with her husband and daughters, she balances her professional life with a passion for running, cycling, skiing, and reading.

Dr. Richardson, an expert in corneal refractive surgery (PRK, LASIK, etc.), cataract surgery, and corneal transplantation procedures, brings a wealth of experience from his recent position as the Officer-in-Charge of the Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery departments at Keesler Medical Center, Keesler AFB, Mississippi, where he oversaw comprehensive surgical specialty care delivery to over 150,000 military members and their families. With a career spanning from his Health Profession Scholarship acceptance in 2001 to his deployment to Afghanistan in 2018, Dr. Richardson has served in various roles, including Chief of Ophthalmology, Director of the Keesler Refractive Surgery Center, and Aerospace Ophthalmology Consultant. A fellowship-trained Corneal Refractive Surgeon and Corneal Transplant Specialist, he is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds associate professorships at multiple universities. Now settled in Concord, Dr. Richardson, along with his wife Lindsay and their three children, looks forward to being part of the community.

Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by a surgical internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. He then served as the surgeon to the army’s 4-7 Cavalry Squadron in South Korea before completing a residency in Ophthalmology at Walter Reed NMMC. With nine years of service in the U.S. Army, most recently at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, Dr. Smith is a Board-Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist proficient in cataract, refractive, glaucoma, oculoplastic, and trauma eye care. His focus on refractive surgery includes expertise in laser refractive surgery, LASIK, and PRK, as well as offering premium multifocal, extended depth of focus, and toric intraocular lenses for cataract surgery and refractive lens exchange. A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Dr. Smith also serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. He resides in New Hampshire with his wife Stephanie and their children Onalee, Sayre, and KJ.
