Timothy E. O'Boyle, M.D.
Dr. Timothy E. O’Boyle is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, LASIK, and diabetic eye disease. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine, completed his internship at Baylor Affiliated Hospitals, and his Ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University Eye Center. Before joining Professional Eye Associates in 1991, Dr. O’Boyle served as Chief of Ophthalmology at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Georgia. He is an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the Georgia Medical Society, and he is involved with the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia and the Boy Scouts of America.
Brian Kim, M.D.
Dr. Brian Kim is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Corneal Specialist with expertise in refractive cataract surgery, LASIK, corneal transplantation, pterygium surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and laser vitreous floater-lysis. He earned his BA from Amherst College and his medical degree from Albany Medical College, where he was recognized for excellence in ophthalmology research. Dr. Kim completed his internship at the Alton Ochsner Clinic Foundation, residency at the LSU Eye Center, and fellowship in Corneal Transplant Surgery and Refractive Surgery. As Northwest Georgia’s only fellowship-trained corneal specialist, he is certified to perform laser treatment for vitreous floaters. Dr. Kim has published articles, lectured nationally, and contributed to surgical advancements. He has served as president of the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology and is a clinical assistant professor at the Medical College of Georgia. A dedicated volunteer, Dr. Kim performs sight-saving cataract surgeries globally and is active in his church’s children’s ministry. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and singing.
Joshua Hendrix, M.D.
Dr. Joshua Hendrix is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing comprehensive ophthalmology, including cataract surgery, LASIK, diabetic eye care, eyelid surgeries, and glaucoma care. He earned his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine, completed his internship at Greenville Health Systems, and his ophthalmology residency at Dean McGee Eye Institute. Since moving to Northwest Georgia in 2018, he has offered advanced glaucoma surgeries and the latest cataract surgery techniques. Dr. Hendrix is an active member of several ophthalmology societies and enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and exploring the outdoors.
