Ophthalmologist in Fort Smith AR

Dr. Christopher Rodriguez, a board-certified ophthalmologist, joined Ennen Eye Center after serving 8 years in the US Air Force, where he received the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Achievement Medal. A native of Jacksonville, AR, Dr. Rodriguez graduated valedictorian from Jacksonville High School and summa cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, graduating with the Robert Key Award. Completing his ophthalmology residency at SAUSHEC in San Antonio, TX, Dr. Rodriguez served as Chief of the Ophthalmology Department at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, specializing in PRK, LASIK, ICL refractive surgery, sutureless laser cataract surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Rodriguez and his wife have three children, and he enjoys outdoor activities and being active in his church.
