Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Oster received his M.D. from Albany Medical College and completed his ophthalmology residency at Geisinger Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He pursued a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the New England Eye Center in Boston, where he also taught at Harvard University and directed the Cornea Service at the Jamaica Plains VA Hospital. He has taught laser vision correction, lectured internationally, and participated in significant LASIK clinical trials. Recognized as a VISX Star Surgeon, placing him in the top 5% nationwide, Dr. Oster is a corneal specialist who accepts referrals for corneal transplantation and cataract surgery.
