Dr. Susan H. Carney, co-founder of Northland Eye Specialists with Dr. Hembree, is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care for patients at every stage of life. Dr. Connor J. Brass is thrilled to join Northland Eye after completing his medical school and ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas. During his residency, Dr. Brass performed over 400 cataract surgeries and gained experience in various corneal, oculoplastic, and glaucoma procedures. He specializes in comprehensive eye care, including cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and is committed to providing compassionate, empathetic care. An avid Kansas City sports fan, Dr. Brass enjoys playing tennis, golf, and rock climbing. He has received several residency honors, including the KU Eye Alan Riley Resident of the Year and KU Eye Rising Star Resident of the Year. Notably, he played in the Class 5A State Tennis final against his twin brother and has a favorite rock climb, “Snake Dike,” on Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Dr. Brass also worked as a film crew member for ESPN during college.
