Dr. Edward Penick, III, M.D.
Dr. Edward “Ted” Moore Penick, III, a native of Little Rock, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 18 years of surgical experience, having performed more than 40,000 refractive procedures. After earning his bachelor’s degree in biology from Davidson College and his medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, he completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Penick is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He specializes in LASIK, PRK, and refractive cataract surgery and serves as the medical director of Shepherd’s Hope, a local charity eye clinic. He also sits on the board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arkansas. Outside his practice, Dr. Penick enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, and their three children, as well as pursuing hobbies such as golf, fly fishing, hunting, and coaching his children’s sports teams.
