Dr. Todd M. Bescak, D.O., FAOCO, is a distinguished board-certified ophthalmologist with a passion for advancing eye care. Graduating from The College of Wooster with a B.A. in Chemistry, he pursued his Medical Degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following his residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where he served as Chief Resident, Dr. Bescak embarked on a career devoted to ophthalmology. Recognized as a fellow by the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology for his commitment to excellence, he has been practicing since 2003, distinguishing himself as a leader in the field. Dr. Bescak specializes in cataract and refractive eye surgery, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance patient outcomes. Alongside his professional pursuits, he is dedicated to community service, volunteering his expertise both locally and internationally. A resident of the Eastern Shore since 2008, Dr. Bescak, along with his wife Allison and three children, is actively engaged in coaching sports, serving on the board of directors for community organizations, and enjoying the Eastern Shore lifestyle through water sports, golfing, and travel.

Dr. Jason Yonker, a distinguished board-certified ophthalmologist, graduated with honors in chemistry from West Virginia University, later earning his medical doctorate from the same institution. Following his residency at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident, Dr. Yonker pursued a fellowship in cataract and glaucoma surgery at the same institute. His passion for teaching led him to become an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Wayne State University, where he also served as the medical director of ophthalmology education. Dr. Yonker’s contributions to the field of ophthalmology are widely recognized, evident through his board certification, fellowship in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and membership in the American Glaucoma Society and the American College of Surgeons. He is deeply involved in medical advocacy at both state and local levels and serves as the director of Ophthalmology at Atlantic General Hospital. Dr. Yonker’s commitment to compassionate, high-quality care led him to join Chesapeake Eye Center, where he values the opportunity to provide ethical medicine with a personal touch. Alongside his wife, Dr. Preeti Yonker, a respected neurologist, Dr. Yonker is thrilled to raise their two daughters on the Eastern Shore, indulging in his hobbies of triathlons and fishing in the local waters of Delmarva.
