Dr. James L. Johnston Jr., DO, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 35 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1988 and completed his internship at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. Following a year of internal medicine training at St. Thomas Medical Center in Akron, he pursued a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Michigan State University.
