Dr. Jonathan D. Primack, is a cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery specialist dedicated to improving patients’ vision through LASIK, PRK, cornea transplants, and advanced surgical methods. Formerly the Director of Refractive Surgery at North Shore–LIJ Hospital System, he has extensive experience in complex eye surgeries and has held academic positions, including Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. A graduate of Washington University, where he earned honors, Dr. Primack completed his ophthalmology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center and advanced fellowship training at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary. Dr. Adam J. Altman, is a LASIK, cataract, and corneal specialist who was the first to perform laser vision correction in Berks County, completing thousands of life-changing surgeries. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, he conducted research at Harvard Medical School’s Eye Hospital before completing his residency as chief resident at Duke University and a fellowship in Cornea and External Eye Disease at Wills Eye Hospital. Board-certified in 1990, Dr. Altman co-founded the Refractive Surgery Service at Wills Eye Hospital and later established the Refractive Surgery Service for Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania in 1995. A frequent presenter and lecturer, he holds medical staff privileges at Reading Hospital, serves as founding medical director at the Pennsylvania Eye and Ear Surgery Center, and is active in major ophthalmology organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
