Dr. Angela Gauthier, a board-certified ophthalmologist at Glaucoma-Cataract Consultants. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dartmouth College in Neuroscience and earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Gauthier completed her ophthalmology residency and a Cornea and External Disease fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. She specializes in diagnosing and treating lens and cornea conditions, including cataracts, refractive errors, Fuchs dystrophy, and keratoconus, and performs LASIK, PRK, and advanced corneal transplantation techniques. Dr. Gauthier is committed to providing top-tier care and staying current with advancements in ophthalmology. She is affiliated with St. Clair Hospital, Mon Valley Hospital, and Highlands Hospital and is a member of several professional organizations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, writing fiction, singing a cappella, and playing piano.

Dr. Nisha Dhawlikar-Gosai, MD, MPH, joined Glaucoma Cataract Consultants in October 2023 and specializes in cataracts and corneal diseases. She graduated with honors in Biology from Boston University, earned her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and completed her ophthalmology residency at Tufts Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Dhawlikar-Gosai performs complex cataract surgeries, including corneal transplant procedures, and is dedicated to restoring vision and improving her patients’ quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, running, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
