Dr. Mohamed Guenena, M.D., a board-certified ophthalmologist, was born in Cairo, Egypt, where he graduated high school as class valedictorian and earned his medical degree with honors from Cairo University. After moving to the United States, he completed a research fellowship at Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina, contributing to advancements in premium cataract lenses and LASIK surgery, followed by a medical internship at St. Mary Hospital in Michigan and ophthalmology residency training with a two-year cornea fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern.
